Summary

STCW Tracker keeps your certificate and sea service records on your device. We do not run servers for this app, we do not have user accounts, and we do not collect, sell or share your personal data. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Information you enter

You may enter certificate and document details (for example certificate names and numbers, issuing authorities, issue and expiry dates, passport or seaman's book details), sea service records and personal notes. This information:

• is stored only in the app's private storage on your device;
• is not transmitted to us or to any third party by the app;
• is excluded from automatic cloud backup by the app.

Reminders

Expiry reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Android notifications. No reminder data leaves your device.

App lock

If you turn on the app lock, Android's biometric or device-credential system verifies you. The app never receives or stores your fingerprint, face data or device PIN.

Exports

When you choose to create a PDF export pack or a data export, the file is created on your device. It is only sent somewhere if you choose to share or save it (for example by email or a file app). After that, the receiving app or person controls that copy.

Purchases

STCW Tracker Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. We do not receive your payment card details. Google Play tells the app whether Pro is unlocked. Google's handling of purchase data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Network use

The app uses the network only to communicate with Google Play Billing for purchases and restoring Pro.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual records in the app, or delete all local data from Settings. Uninstalling the app also removes its data from your device.

Children

The app is intended for seafarers and maritime professionals and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date.
